One of those weeks
Just thought I'd pop onto my own blog to say "hi" to my eager readers (all five of you) and let you know that absolutely NOTHING is happening in my life. So there's nothing to post.
Unless you want thousands of words about my writing process and how I've been literally staring at the computer screen for about five hours a day, frustrated and annoyed and producing very very little (in between watching Season One of House again and again and walking the dog). But I don't think anyone wants to hear about that! (I, for one, certainly don't!)
Will return to reality shortly, I'm sure.

Hey T!
After all your traveling, I am sure it is nice to have a break and have nothing to do.
I gave you a shout out on my blog today.
Lovely Tuesday!
rent a bunch of old movies with really solid storytelling. "casablanca". "sunset boulevard". "rear window". that always gets my creative juices going.
or, if you're not into that, spend some time in borders and look around. i'm not sure if they have it, but there's a book called "book one" by chip kidd. he's a designer of book covers, and it's visually inspirational.
or just scalp a ticket to see pearl jam tonight.
hopefully these help some.
5 readers? Oh, you are too modest, Ms TJ! According to your sitemeter, you have 37 readers checking in every day to see what you've been doing!
I either get inspired or get insecure when I watch really good movies (or read really good books). I tend to get jealous, though, definitely.
PS -- Awwwww.....37 whole readers!
I wondered where you were! Oh, how hateful the computer screen can seem when you're writing...I know what you mean about reading good books when you're trying to get a story together. I would generally pick something up, thinking it might inspire me, and end up just reading the whole damn book and eating a bag of Oreos, having written nary a word. :)
Oh, I was just in Melbourne! Welcome to My Muse (hopefully I'll start posting more soon....)
And "hello" to everyone else!
and not only do you have more than 5 people reading, you already have far more than that commenting :)
Ha ha! I know, Karen. I post random posts like these, and everyone jumps in to comment!
Thought we'd throw in a comment because we check in to see what you have been up to too!!!!
These things happen once in a while even though it sucks. Hope you're back soon! :)
What worked for me when I hit a WB was to get up at an ungodly hour in the morning and write anything that came to mind. It worked for me every time...till I figured I could not handle the starving artist bit and gave it up.
I am one of your devoted readers...And if you don't mind I think I may add a link to your page so that my 2 devoted readers will tune in as well
This might be my all-time favorite post!
Link away, common girl!
