I am currently reading several books including "Faking It" by Jennifer Crusie, "America's Queen: The Life of Jaqueline Kennedy Onsassis" and "Music for Cameleons" by Truman Capote...my bedside has several others waiting to be started. I'd like to read "Wicked" to though!

Oh, I love Truman Capote! (You'll fit in well here -- Miss V and I are obsessed.)

Just got a Jackie book today in the mail and another Audrey book (though they're both mostly pictures).

Books Books Books!

zlatickogirl...read Truman's Answered Prayers...amazing!

PHS. PHS. PHS. = Oscar. Oscar. Oscar.

I missed PSH's interview with whatshisname -- where he talked about his past drug use. Too bad.

LOL. What would I do without you to obsess? Did you know, by the way, that there's ANOTHER movie coming out this year about T. Capote? I can't remember who's playing T.C., but Sandra Bullock is playing Harper Lee. Should be interesting to see the comparison.

Oh Me Too You Babe!

Yeah, I've heard about that *other* Capote movie. Gwyneth has a part in it. She plays Peggy Lee & I think she sings FEVER. So...Sandra B, Mads & Gwyneth have all sang Fever!

I saw that interview on 60 minutes. It was good! I'm sure they'll re-run it at some point. He talked about how he likes to stay under the radar so when you see him in a movie you believe the *part* he is playing and not see him as PSH playing Capote.

Do you have E! Their oscar coverage starts around noonish with the RED CARPET coverage at 2:30. Issac will be on the RED CARPET! Can't wait for that. He was a riot at the Globes!

Garlic and Sapphires, by Ruth Reichl. It's fabulous, but why do I read foodie books before bed? Nothing worse than being hungry (and craving something that's been deliciously described) in bed!

I hope they replay it! I don't have E! but I'll be going to gay_boyfriend's place to watch it. We usually watch most/all of the preshow.

Julia -- I love reading food books. I can remember reading the Little House books as a child and always being drawn to the food descriptiong. They always had HUGE meals!
