Want to know a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon?
No, I'm not talking about the Super Bowl!
Ready for this? Try the emergency pet hospital, open 27-7 so that you can pay the amount of a pair of designer shoes (discounted, not full price; Prada, not Manolos) to have your dog rehydrated.
Ah well, it's a price well worth it to have a soggy doggie!

WHAT? What happened to SuperDog? I hope he's okay! Give him big hugs and a tummy rub and even a butt scratch from Auntie Y.
I'm not sure. Just tummy stuff. Which is ordinarily pretty normal, but he hasn't been eating (or drinking enough). I'm taking him to our regular vet later today. Scary. But I know he's okay; he has to be okay.
Thanks. He sends you a lick :)
It's so scary when your pet is sick. You can't just give them Pepto and ginger ale and hope for the best.
I'm glad the super-soaker worked though and I hope SD is feeling better soon.
Well, they can't tell you what's wrong -- so it's mostly a head game I play with myself. Hopefully this isn't serious. Thanks, my dear.
Update: We went to our regular vet for a bunch of tests (thereby removing all possibility of my getting that Michael Kors dress to take to OZ) and haven't gotten the final results. But our vet seemed to think that everything looked okay, and today SD's eaten most of a chicken breast (and seems eager for more) and had some water. Still, fingers crossed, but it looks good.
I'd take SuperDog over a Michael Kors dress any day. Slobbery licks are a better character statement. Hope all is well and coming out okay!
