Yes, I'm giving Mr. On-Line a second chance after our dating disaster a couple of weeks ago. I figure, if nothing else, it'll give me a chance to apply my new dating skills from the weekend's seminar.
How'd I get to be such an optimist?
I swear, I have such a respect for us single people. No matter how many times we get knocked down and beaten up, we get right back up and keep going. And going. And going.

And I second your last statement (although I wish I could have a bit more optimism. OK, any).
I'm trying to apply the tips you posted about too - see how you go with Part Deux and report back!
It's so hard to not be on the defensive all of the time. I'm still learning, definitely. Funny how difficult it is to just approach a date with an open mind, just thinking about how much fun it will be!
Can't wait to hear how the date went!
I'm looking forward to hearing about the date. and yes, picking yourself back up and getting back out there can be tough - for any of us....I'm there myself, just with different circumstances. Thanks for the shot of optimism, I really needed it today.
